Why switch to a mobile charging station for your electric vehicle?
Easy to use and secure, the Maxicharger is a mobile charging station for electric vehicles that outperforms a standard charging cable.
It allows you to charge your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle equipped with a Type 1 connector on most sockets you’ll find along the way.
For drivers who need to charge in multiple locations, save money by using a mobile charger instead of installing multiple fixed charging stations.
This portable charging solution is much cheaper to install than a home charging station and is far more convenient if you move house.
Charging power of the Type 1 Maxicharger mobile charging station
It offers charging power ranging from 1.8 to 7.4 kW with alternating current (AC), unlike a standard household plug cable which only goes up to 2.3 kW.
On a domestic socket, you can charge up to 2.3 kW like a regular plug cable. Then charge faster up to 7.4 kW using a reinforced P17 / CEE17 plug or at home and public charging stations thanks to its various interchangeable adapters.
Charging power by plug type:
Plug type | Charging power |
---|---|
Schuko (France/Germany) | 2.3 kW |
Reinforced Green'up type socket | 2.3 kW |
Reinforced P17 / CEE17 single-phase 16A | 3.7 kW |
Reinforced P17 / CEE17 single-phase 32A | 7.4 kW |
Type 2 station (compatible home and public stations) | up to 7.4 kW |
Type 3C station (compatible home and public stations) | up to 7.4 kW |
T13 plug (Switzerland) | 1.8 kW |
T23 plug (Switzerland) | 3.7 kW |

The Maxicharger is equipped with an automatic power limitation system. It adjusts to the specifications of the socket used and the capabilities of your vehicle.
For safety, charging is limited based on the adapter connected to the mobile charger: 10A, 13A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A at 230V.

SPECIFIC INDICATIONS
For owners of Renault ZOE, Renault Twingo, Smart EQ (some versions) and Renault Megane Electric (some versions) in Belgium, Luxembourg and Denmark, this product (like all charging equipment) is not immune to failure when charging due to the absence of a neutral pin. If you are in this situation, you should install an isolation transformer to charge your EV. An isolation transformer is an electrical safety device that separates two windings.
