This 230V domestic and reinforced socket adapter easily connects to the NRGKick mobile charging station thanks to its interchangeable adapter system.

A smart adapter for charging an electric car from a domestic socket

NRGkick has designed a range of smart adapters to recharge your electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle in the best conditions and with complete safety.

The NRGkick home socket adapter has unique smart systems on the market:

• A higher protection rating than other electric car chargers with P67 and IP69K protection ratings. The adapter is protected against dust and water ingress, even when cleaned with high-pressure hot water.
• Even if the NRGkick is wet, operation via the touch surface still works perfectly (in winter even with gloves, to protect fingers very sensitive to the cold...).
  
• Hot plug protection: Integrated into the NRGkick connector, this protection system detects a disconnection of the connector in time, cuts off the power supply, and prevents arcing when the NRGkick is removed. A special mechanism interrupts the power supply even before the pins of the smart accessory have left the socket. This guarantees absolute safety when connecting and disconnecting from the mains.
• Continuous temperature monitoring : If a high temperature is detected at the wall outlet, the NRGkick's temperature management ensures that the charging current is reduced or even completely stopped before temperatures become critical and something can happen.
• Phase detection and reverse polarity protection : The new connector system ensures that the NRGkick will not be damaged even if the electrical system is installed incorrectly. The connector unit detects, for example, if the phases and neutral are reversed and protects the NRGkick's electronics from possible overvoltages.
