The charging power of the Type 2 Type 1 cable can range from 2.3kW to 7kW in single phase 32A. The maximum charging power of the T2/T1 cable is 7kW and varies according to the power delivered by the charge point to which you connect your electric car. If your electric car is rated for a maximum of 16A, the charging power will also be limited for safety with the T2 T1 cable. This makes the Type 2 Type 1 32A cable the most versatile cable that gives you optimal single-phase charging in all situations.

Depending on the model of electric car, the charging hatch of the Type 1 connector is located in different places. To be able to easily charge a medium-sized electric car (city car or electric SUV) without the risk of a too short cable, we advise you to choose a Type 2 Type 1 cable of 7 meters long. If in doubt, please contact our technical expert.
